Notes: This was written for hen_wookluv community's weekly quote challenge. The quote from that week was "I want to keep you right here" from SHINee's song "In My Room".

Ryeowook sulked for the rest of the weekend and when their schedules started the next week, even the interviewers and MC’s avoided asking him questions; the singer radiated depression. By the end of the week, it was almost more than the rest of the group could handle. Henry’s sulking was almost as profound as Ryeowook’s and the magnae became uncharacteristically quiet and melancholy. Strangely enough, even Heechul’s mood was effected by the reactions of the two younger members. He became quieter and more reserved, calling less attention to himself; really he just didn’t want Henry to notice him too much and remember that he was the cause of this all this discord, like he had been in the past. He was almost feeling regretful that he had opened his mouth. By Thursday, Eeteuk had had enough of it and made sure that Hankyung worked everything out so that Wookie and Henry had the dorm to themselves all weekend long.

On Friday night, Heechul, Hankyung, Zhoumi, and Siwon all conveniently found reasons to stay over in the other dorms. By Saturday morning, when Ryeowook got up to make breakfast for everyone and found that no one had returned yet, he realized that the two had been tricked. Breakfast that morning was awkward to say the least. Henry had insisted on helping Ryeowook clean the dishes afterwards since Ryeowook had gone through the trouble of making the food. However, when Ryeowook’s hand accidentally grabbed Henry’s instead of the bowl he was originally aiming for, Henry suddenly remembered that he had to feed Canada and rushed out of the room. Awkward, yes, this was definitely classified as awkward.

Ryeowook heard Henry frantically searching in his room for something after breakfast and, after ten minutes of waiting, gained the courage to go ask what was wrong.

"I can’t find Canada!" said Henry with tears brimming his eyes. "I checked EVERYWHERE that she normally hides and I still can’t find her. She never misses breakfast, ever."

Ryeowook hear the panic in Henry’s voice and immediately joined in the search. After five more minutes of unsuccessful searching, Ryeowook sat down and leaned the chair and his head against the wall. It was then that he made an unfortunate discovery: the window had been left wide open. As he pointed this out to Henry, they both grabbed their jackets and bolted out the door.

They searched in every bush and tree in the surrounding two blocks before they found out Canada’s fate. Ryeowook held Henry closely as they stared at the limp form in the side of the road. Without even discussing it, Ryeowook lifted the small body and carried it back towards the dorms. Under a small tree outside of Henry’s window, they dug a grave in silence and placed her collar on a small makeshift cross that now marked the grave.

All of this had been done without speaking from either party. Ryeowook led Henry inside and made him a glass of hot chocolate. He sat Henry down on the couch and cuddled close beside him as if their closeness could lessen the hurt that Henry was feeling. Even if it was just a cat, Henry had bonded with it quickly and it was a present from someone who he did care about which made it more special. Losing it made him suddenly feel very alone, even with Ryeowook there, so he put his drink down and tried to huddle closer to Ryeowook. All the awkwardness of that morning had been forgotten; Henry needed to be comforted and Ryeowook was perfectly happy to be the one giving it.

"I’m so sorry Henry," said Ryeowook, breaking the silence that had hung over the two for almost the past hour, "If there’s anything you want me to do for you, just ask, I’ll do it right away. I just don’t want you to be sad. It hurts me to see you sad. Would you want me to call up that girl Heechul mentioned the other day? I’m sure you’d feel more comfortable talking with her about it than me."

Ryeowook wasn’t even sure what had made him bring that up, he really must be hanging around Heechul too much, but it had been bugging him for a week and if it was going to be more comfortable for Henry to talk with her, then the right thing for him to do would be to let Henry talk with her and just forget about his own feelings.

"There is no other girl Wookie," said Henry as he hid his face in Ryeowook’s shoulder, "I sort of altered the story when I was talking with Heechul, he got it wrong. There’s no new girl; even Ji was just a way to distract myself from the person who I really love, I didn’t want them to see me looking at them all the time. But most of the other stuff Heechul said was true. I do love this person, I’ve loved them for a very long time. And I finally gained the courage to tell them, when Heechul ruined it. I’d give up everything for this person. And well this person is..."

"Please stop." said Ryeowook as he interrupted Henry’s confession. "I don’t want to hear anymore. I really can’t take it. Can’t you see how much I care for you? How much I love you? Why is that not enough? What is it that this other person does that makes them so amazing? I can’t help but be jealous; I guess that while I was spending so much time concentrating on you, I missed seeing exactly how infatuated you were with this other person. Is it Donghae? You two always seemed close, but maybe it was more than it seemed. Or Zhoumi, or even Kyuhyun? How could I have missed this? I must really be an idiot!"

"You’re right you are an idiot," said Henry softly as he leaned in and softly kissed Ryeowook on the lips, "The person who I’ve been infatuated with this entire time was you Wookie."

A bright smile flooded across Ryeowook’s face and relief inundated down his body. Everything in the room melted away as the realization of what had just happened overcame him. Henry really loved him back. There was no other girl. There wasn’t even another guy. He loved him, Ryeowook; no one else. It made him happier than anything he could have possible dreamed of. Henry was going through the same feelings of elation as Ryeowook was and it seemed that the discord of the past week and the unfortunate fate of Canada had been hundreds of years ago. Henry shifted in Ryeowook’s arms until they fit together perfectly with Ryeowook’s arms wrapped over Henry’s, laying over his stomach. If things could only get better from there, they both couldn’t wait for the future to come.

"Ryeowook, is there anything in the world that you still want right now?" asked Henry; now that Ryeowook was his, he wanted to make sure he was happy with everything, absolutely everything.

"Yes there is, I want to keep you right here"

"Always?"

"Forever, Henry."

Author’s Notes: Yay happy HenWook love!! finally ^_^ ...I’m not sure if this is too mushy but oh well, I never was good a gauging if my characters were overreacting or showing too little emotion(there might have been a bit of both in here)...

When Henry awoke, he thought the dream he was having that involved Ryeowook coming into his room and replacing his kitten had come true; the small kitten that was in his arms had been replaced by a full grown male. He stared at the back of the head in front of him as it rested on his chest and studied the grown out black hair. Trying to shift out from underneath the sleeping mass only earned him a tighter hug; obviously someone was faking sleep.

“Hyung! Please let go of me, I know you’re awake. Where’s Canada at anyway?"

“She’s playing with Heebum. Why do you insist on calling her that anyway? It’s such a weird name for a cat,” replied the unmoving form who insisting on sprawling across Henry’s body.

“Henry-ah, why were you crying while you were sleeping? I think everyone heard you when we came in, I’m surprised you didn’t wake the neighbors!"

It was just like him to be so blunt when asking things like this but, that was Heechul for you. Henry gave up on escaping and relaxed into Heechul’s hold; he refused to answer though, he didn’t feel like talking about the events that had occurred earlier that day.

“Do you miss home? Is that why you were crying?”

“...”

“Miss China?”

“...”

“Your girlfriend? What was her name again? Ji?”

Henry tensed at this last question because it brought back to mind Ryeowook’s comments from earlier that day which had changed practically everything he had assumed about the older man.

“Ah! So it is her! Don’t worry, you’ll get to see her soon enough, maybe she can come visit if you’re that upset about it. I mean really there’s no need to cry...”

“That’s not it,” interrupted Henry as he failed to keep the sadness and disappointment out of his voice.

“Hyung, you know stuff about relationships, right? Can I ask you for some advice?”

“Sure, what’s going on with you and Ji?” replied Heechul. Although he knew from experience that his relationship advice never was much good, he couldn’t just abandon Henry and leave him to solve whatever this was on his own. Henry’s cheeks were almost as effective as Sungmin’s puppy face at getting people to do things against their will.

“Well,” started Henry, “there’s this other umm, girl, you see. I’ve liked her since before I debuted. Well it’s more like I’ve loved her since then, she’s perfect, even more so than Ji. The way she always acted towards me was in a motherly way though, so when I overheard her telling a umm, friend, of mine that she loved me as well, I was kinda in shock. I just stood there as she left and didn’t say anything to her. Now I don’t know what I should do. Is she going to get mad at me if I tell her I was eavesdropping on her conversation, or do you think she won’t mind? I really don’t know what I should do; I would do anything for her. I mean Ji is nice and all, but I’d give her up in a heartbeat for this other person.”

“Don’t worry about her getting angry; she’ll get over it in no time if what you’re saying is true. Are you embarrassed of your feelings for her, or are you proud of your love for her? If you are ashamed to admit that you love her then maybe you should wait a while,” said Heechul. He was really trying to be careful on this subject, his advice had broken people apart before and he didn’t want to do that to Henry; he was hoping that Henry would take some time to think about this and then go ask someone else for better advice.

“Thank you Heechul!!” exclaimed Henry as he gave Heechul a big hug.

“I’ve made up my mind, I’m going to go tell him her that I love her right away!” said Henry and he prayed that Heechul hadn’t heard his slip-up. But Heechul seemed not to have noticed, he was too busy going over all the ways that this could go wrong and ways for him to get out of being blamed for it again.

Heechul sighed and got up from Henry’s bed and stretched; he’d been holding Henry while he cried for quite a long time, being a caring person really was too much work for him.

“Well I’m glad you’ve got all that sorted out but, it’s really not going to go over well with Ryeowook once he finds out. He looked depressed enough earlier today and at that time he only knew about the one girl you liked, now there’s two; it’s gonna break his heart.”

Henry stared at him in shock and tried to figure out how Heechul knew about Ryeowook’s feelings; were the two really that much closer than Henry was with Ryeowook?

“What?” questioned Heechul as he stared at the astonished face of Henry, “God, it’s beyond obvious! Hankyung called me just about every night while you were in China to complain about how sickening it was to watch him baby you and yet he wouldn’t say anything to you about how he felt; this was before you even started dating Ji. Afterwards Ryeowook started with a new vehemence to gain your affection. I’m surprised you didn’t notice. I guess people in Canada are a bit dense when it comes to this stuff.”

Ryeowook had entered the room by the end of Heechul’s explanation and inquired as to what Canadians are so dense about.

“Oh it’s nothing really important Wookie,” replied Heechul, “But did you know that Henry has some new crush? He just told me all about her. Apparently he’s loved this girl since he got here and he’s finally gained the nerve to go tell her. I guess that’s it for Ji though.” Heechul really wasn’t sure why he had even mentioned it; it just seemed like too much fun to cause a little bit of mayhem in this house. Things get boring if you don’t stir them up a bit.

Henry felt like killing Heechul after that comment and wished he could try to explain to Ryeowook that Heechul was wrong. Ryeowook had already left the room with a crestfallen expression on his face and Henry couldn’t deny what he had just told Heechul while Heechul was still in the room. Why did Heechul have to open his mouth? He finally had it figured out and now everything was a mess.

Note: This was written for the hen_wookluv community's weekly quote challenge. This week's quote was "I want to be your kitty just for a day" from DBSK's song "Hug". I ended up turning this into a three chapter fic based on each week's quote.

Ryeowook was glad to be back in the dorms; he never thought he’d live to see the day he’d say that. They were a little cramped and messy, but they were home. He had missed everyone when he was in China with the rest of SJ-M; although he secretly had a reason to be a little happier than everyone else: being back in Korea meant that Henry wouldn’t get to see his girlfriend for quite a while. He knew it was wrong to be happy about that fact but he couldn’t help but be jealous of her. Whenever the two were together she could show her affection without holding back. She was pretty, could cook, would make him laugh constantly, she even spoke a fair bit of English and could sing fairly well; Henry was even starting to teach her violin. In a nutshell she seemed like the perfect girl for him. When they left she bought him a little calico kitten so he wouldn’t feel lonely without her. Henry loved it; he was currently sitting on a slightly beat-up sofa and was petting the kitten’s ears.

Ryeowook was almost as jealous of the cat as he was the girlfriend. Henry was so carefree with the cat as he played with it, or pet it, or when he let it sleep on his chest, its ears tickling the bottom of his chin, purring contently as it curled up in the crook of Henry’s neck. The little feline only had to mew softly if it wanted more attention and would show its approval as Henry scratched at that spot just behind its ears by purring loud enough for anyone in the room to hear.

Henry gently placed the kitten onto the couch next to him before he got up and left for his room. When Ryeowook heard the door close, he got up from his hiding spot around the corner of the hallway and took Henry’s place on the couch, letting a hand start stroking the cat absentmindedly. He was glad that the rest of his dorm mates had gone out to eat; it gave him time to think by himself. The increasing noise of the animal purring below his hand brought him out of his deep thought though and Ryeowook stopped petting the kitten as he began to look at it.

“You really don’t know how lucky you are little one,” he said to it. It felt a little strange to be talking to an animal but, at the same time, he wanted to get this off of his chest, even if it meant talking to an animal that couldn’t understand a word he was saying.

“You really really don’t know how lucky you are,” he repeated. “He loved you unconditionally and all you have to do is sit there and purr. I wish it was that easy for me as well. When it’s just the two of us, he’ll pay attention to me and hold me and joke around with me but, as soon as she shows up, he devotes his entire being to her; I just blend in with the walls. I don’t even think he sees just how much I care for him; how I always make sure he’s eating well, that he isn’t overworked, that he isn’t bored or lonely;, that he isn’t homesick or just plain old sick. Henry always comes first no matter what is going on, I’d risk my life for him. Yet all you have to do is sit there and look cute and he already cares about you more than he cares about me. I wish I could be his kitty, just for a day. Then I’d be able to cuddle up with him and show him just how much I love him without having to worry about his response; I’d just know that he loved me back just as much.”

Ryeowook sighed and got up from the slightly decrepit couch; all of this mulling was making him depressed. He called up Leeteuk and asked if anyone could pick him up and continued to chat as he walked out the door to wait for his ride. After he passed by, Henry walked though the threshold back into the living room. His facial expression was a mixture of sadness, confusion, and had a small hint of someone who had just realized something blatantly obvious and felt dumb for not seeing it sooner. He started blankly at the vacant spot that Ryeowook had occupied just moments earlier and began speaking to the empty apartment.

“None of that’s true; it isn’t at all. You don’t ever blend into the walls; the walls disappear, everything disappears. You are all I see. I just didn’t think you would understand the way I felt so I hid it from you.”

He picked up the kitten, meandered into his room, and flopped down on his bed, hugging the kitten as close to his body as he could. He wished his feelings could somehow transfer from the little cat he had into his arms to the man he cared about the most who had just walked out the door. He knew how Ryeowook felt and he knew that his feelings matched the other man’s, yet he couldn’t bring himself to go out the door and confess. He was too afraid and he wasn’t sure what he was afraid of. So he sat on his bed and listened as he heard a car pull up to the building. As it pulled away, he found he was crying; he had just missed the only opportunity that he might ever get to explain the way he truly felt.

Note: I wrote this a few months ago in during my Chemistry lecture because I was bored...I personally don't really like it, but it's there and I decided to see what everyone else thought of it...There's no real plot, just some thoughts...

Eeteuk wasn't very experienced in relationships. Ok so maybe that was a bit of a lie. He'd had relationships with women and relationships with men, which isn't something that everyone's experienced. He'd only had one sexual relationship which he guessed was odd considering the fact that he was already in his mid-twenties. He had an unusual relationship with the other twelve members of Super Junior as well as their two recruits, Henry and Zhoumi; it was the kind of relationship you couldn't explain to anyone, it just was. There were very few people he guessed who had ever had a relationship like that. Other than Super Junior though, the only relationships he ever had were few and far between. It was always hard to meet new people when you were recognized and mobbed everywhere you went. Everything you did had to be a secret. Everything! Eeteuk guessed that that was why his relationship with the other members of Super Junior was so special; they understood so many of the things he had to put up with. It was a bit harder for normal people to understand. Its why 99.9% of his relationships ended; they just got tired of having to sneak around anytime they wanted to see each other. Not only that but, finding time to see each other was a problem. Eeteuk always made sure to free as much of his time as he could when he was in a relationship so he wouldn't drive the other person away any quicker. Still, he knew it would be too much for them to deal with eventually so, breaking up never came as a surprise to him. His last girlfriend, Sooyun, was still a good friend of his though so, it wasn't like he was abandoned at the end of the relationship. It had been over a year and a half since he dated though and he was tired of feeling lonely. He knew he shouldn't feel lonely with the members of Super Junior there to support him but, he needed a different kind of support from what they could offer.

He had been wandering aimlessly through the snow while he mulled over this topic and when he finally took notice of his surroundings again, he realized he was in a park about a mile from the dorms. He loved the snow; partially because of the fact that every one else was bundled up in clothing so he didn't stick out when he went out in disguise but, mostly because he loved how pretty everything looked when the snow covered all of its flaws. The only other people out braving the cold were a family of three. The mother and the father were rolling around in the snow with their little toddler who was bundled up in a pink snow suit that looked like it doubled her weight. Eeteuk was slightly jealous of them; they were so carefree, seeming to forget about all of their problems, just cherishing those moments in the snow. He began wondering how long it would be before he was a father. He had always wanted kids and everyone said he would be a good father; seriously who else could take care of Super Junior as good as he could. Being famous however, pushed back that dream to an unknown date. How could he ever have a kid? Even if he did, it would never be as carefree as the little girl making a snow angel in front of him. His child would always be followed by cameras and always treated as being "special", he could never put his child through that. But really, what could he do? Even if he quit Super Junior, he would still be followed and recognized everywhere. Ok so not everywhere, maybe he could go to Europe or America where Super Junior wasn't well known. He knew he could never do that though. It was hard enough for him and the other members when sub groups had to go on trips; there was no way he could leave for another country to have a family. He was in a bind; not only that but, his musings had now made him late for practice. Dreading the thought of having to do dishes as punishment later that night, he began to sprint off to practice. He really was a little too absentminded sometimes.

So yeah, I don't know what brought this on or what the point of it is even supposed to be...Maybe I'll turn it into a chaptered story eventually and have this be the prologue, but for now it's going to stay like this....
